Your Manewise float camera is designed to go from box to live view in about two minutes. Here is how.
1. Mount the camera
The camera has a strong magnetic base. Place it on any clean steel surface inside your float, angled to look at your horse. If your float is aluminium or fibreglass, first stick our Adhesive Mount Plate where you want the camera, then attach the magnet to that. No drilling, no wiring.
2. Power it on
Press and hold the power button until the camera turns on. Make sure it is charged before a trip, or plug it into a USB power bank for continuous power on longer hauls.
3. Connect your phone
The camera broadcasts its own WiFi hotspot. On your phone, open your WiFi settings and connect to the camera network - no internet or SIM required. Then open the free app to see the live view.
4. Check the view
Position the camera so your horse is centred in frame. In low light, infrared night vision switches on automatically so you can still see clearly inside a dark float.
Tips for a great picture
- Mount at chest height, angled slightly down, for the best view of your horse.
- Wipe the lens before each trip for a clear picture.
- On trips longer than a few hours, run the camera from a power bank so the battery never runs flat.
- Clean and dry the surface before sticking the mount plate on for the first time.
